Two-dimensional echocardiography accurately localized the aneurysm and played a key role in the diagnosis, since physical signs of right-sided obstruction were absent. Cardiac catheterization confirmed the diagnosis. Postoperatively, two-dimensional echocardiography appears useful in judging the success or failure of surgery.
