AB Primary care physicians play a key role in the diagnosis and the nonoperative management of knee osteoarthritis (OA), including monitoring for problems in patients who have undergone knee replacement surgery. This article reviews key clinical and radiographic findings of knee OA, options for conservative management, and signs and symptoms of complications after total knee arthroplasty.
