A1 Falcone, Tommaso A1 Attaran, Marjan YR 2007 UL http://www.ccjm.org/content/74/5/329.abstract AB Success rates with in vitro fertilization (IVF) continue to improve as we gain insight into optimal culture conditions for gametes and embryos. New procedures such as in vitro egg maturation, preimplantation genetic testing, single embryo transfer, and oocyte freezing hold the promise of reducing the cost, inconvenience, and risks of IVF, as well as preserving future fertility. We provide an overview of the current and experimental assisted reproductive technology techniques.
